So has anyone seen this movie? I saw it in December and I thought it
was awesome! I was very impressed with the cast.

I saw it!!!!

It was awesome!!!! But I thought it was a bit rushed and I didn't
finish my popcorn until "Not While I'm Around" (I'm the champion
popcorn eater and I usually eat it really fast. When I was watching
Harry Potter 4, Harry's name still hadn't come out of the Goblet when
I finshed)

I love Toby but I felt his final scene should have had more pizzazz to
it.

LAURA MICHELLE KELLY WAS AWESOME!!!!! I LOVE HER!!!

I didn't think it was rushed at all.

And I agree LMK did a good job as the Beggar woman! My friend who I
saw it with thought they should've picked someone else for the role, I
couldn't help thinking "What?! She was good!" Oh well...

And you're right about the final scene, I couldn't help feeling for
like 5 seconds after the movie was over that it somehow felt
incomplete...probably because I kept waiting for Sweeney to sing the
last note and Toby just slit his throat then and there, without the
rhyme or anything.

And I really loved Depp in this film, I though he did an impressive
job for someone who's not a singer.

To be honest, I only had 3 major issues with the film:
1. Anthony. He seemed a bit shrimpy to me and it bugged me his hair
was almost as long as Johanna's. And some of his notes were nasal but
he does have a very beautiful voice otherwise.
2. Helena's voice, on the other hand, almost has no power. It's nice
to listen to but I thought it was too soft and too sweet. But she was
a great actress.
3. Judge Turpin in tight pants. O.O Yeaaaaaa, that speaks for
itself...
