Hello everyone, I know it's been a while since the last post but Anup
and I have been working on updates and canvas changes. We thing we've
made the system much more robust and stabilized the Canvas for future
releases.
You can check out the new versions at
http://www.red-r.org/downloads.
We have two versions for Windows, a precompiled version that doesn't
require all of the Python components and a Developers version that
gives you everything you need to run Red-R and make changes to the
Canvas. These are still in beta version until we get some of the bugs
worked out of widgets but we'd appreciate any comments you have.
If you want to make your own widgets but don't know where to start we
have made Widget Maker (see the video at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rm_4S8EGdxc
). This lets you make your own widgets based on an R function.
Please report any bugs at
http://www.red-r.org/documentation/known-issues-and-bugs
Thanks
