The Harvard National Model United Nations junior staff applications are available online HERE

The application deadline for both conferences is Thursday, September 19th at 5:00pmOnce you submit an application, a member of the Secretariats will be in contact with you to schedule a brief interview, which will be held during the weekend of September 20 - 22. Please note that it is very common for students to staff both HMUN and HNMUN-- don't feel that you have to decide between the two-- and we highly encourage you to apply to both!

HMUN and HNMUN will also hold an Assistant Director Information Session and Application Q&A on Monday, September 16 at 9:00pm in Ticknor Lounge. You will have the opportunity to meet both of the Secretariats again and to ask any questions about Junior Staff positions or the application process. There will also be snacks and plenty of good company. We hope to see you there! For more information, please contact in...@harvardmun.org and in...@hnmun.org.

Harvard Model United Nations (HMUN) is the oldest and most prestigious Model United Nations conference held for high school students in the United States. The conference will bring together more than 3,400 students and faculty from high schools around the world and provide them with a unique opportunity to experience first-hand the challenges of international negotiation. In the spirit in which the United Nations was founded, HMUN emphasizes the need for constructive and open dialogue among all nations in order to resolve today’s complex global problems. By assuming the role of UN representatives (and other political movers and shakers), delegates work together to simulate the resolution of important international issues. In the recent past, HMUN has expanded to include two international conferences: HMUN China, hosted in March of each year, and HMUN India, hosted in August of each year. All of this is accomplished by a staff of roughly 200 Harvard College undergraduates who gain lifelong friendships and critical skills in the process of bringing our conferences to fruition. Learn more about us by visiting our website, www.harvardmun.org.
Harvard National Model United Nations (HNMUN) is the world’s largest, oldest, and most prestigious conference of  its kind. Called the "Super Bowl of Model UN" by the New York Times, HNMUN brings over 3,000 students and faculty together from colleges and universities from over 50 countries to simulate the activities of  the United Nations. 2014 marks the Sixtieth Session of the conference, which is staffed entirely by more than 200 Harvard College undergraduates like yourself. Over conference weekend, staff  members have the opportunity to run numerous types of  committees, ranging from large General Assemblies to small, crisis-oriented Specialized Agencies, to liaise with delegates and faculty advisors, and to organize social events, such as the renowned Delegate Dance. Additionally, this year, we are launching an initiative, in conjunction with the Resolution Project, to empower youth from around the world to carry out positive impact projects. Furthermore, we now host a conference in Latin America during winter break. Throughout the fall and spring semesters, HNMUN staff engage in regular meetings and staff nights out and other socials.  We would love to have you become part of the HNMUN Family. For more information, please visit our website or contact us at in...@hnmun.org.
