Dear Sir,
This is in response to the Public Notice issued by the DEPwD on July 29, 2024 on the proposed amendments to Rules 17 & 18 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017.
The National Platform for the Rights of the Disabled (NPRD) hereby submits its comments and objections on the same, which has been endorsed by sixty six disability rights organisations, activists and individuals.
We are sure the department will take into consideration these seriously and make appropriate changes as suggested.
