This is in response to the public notice inviting suggestions to the Draft of the proposed amendments to the RPD Rules, 2017.

The NPRD has prepared a response, which we are sharing with a request to send your endorsements through the google form.

Those who have issues with the form can send their endorsements containing their name, designation and organisational affiliation to us.

These should reach latest by August 25, 2024.

The last date for submission is August 28, 2024.

Dear Friends, The National Platform for the Rights of the Disabled (NPRD) has prepared a response to the Public Notice dated July 29, 2024, proposing amendments to Rules 17 & 18 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017, issued by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Government of India.  The link to the document is given below. We request you to fill in the form below, if you would like to endorse the objections we have raised and suggestions that we have made. Since we have to submit this before August 28, 2024, it is requested that these endorsements be made before August 25.
