Even while there is growing awareness and protests against the genocide being witnessed in Gaza, there is very little attention focussed on the myraid issues that the disabled face in situations of conflict and genocide. Added to it is the fact that such conflicts also contribute to  increasing the number of disabled in a big manner. 


In an attempt to draw attention to these issues, a meeting is being organised jointly by the National Platform for the Rights of the Disabled and the Jan Swasthya Abhiyan in Delhi. The NPRD has been conducting meetings in various parts of the country and this meeting is part of that effort.
