As A Crowd Gathers is a selection of video essays constructed through an autonomous collective approach to research - a co-studied genealogy of crowds, affect, and cinema; historical and represented.
This video documents presentations Red Channels gave at the Cultural Studies Association's "New Directions in Cultural Studies" conference held last March in Chicago. It was recently exhibited at the Whitney Independent Study Program Exhibition in New York, and the project will further expand at Eyebeam in late July/ early August. More to come...
