Red Channels' comrades have organized a rally to save the life of an innocent man, Troy Davis, who has been incarcerated since 1989 and on death row since 1991 and we are answering their call to make a STRONG showing of solidarity. He is scheduled to be put to death on Wednesday, September 21st -- next week -- for a crime he did not commit. We need to show up in BIG numbers. Together we can turn the tide and help save this man's life!

The case against Troy Davis an African American man for the murder of a white police officer consisted entirely of witness testimony which contained inconsistencies even at the time of the trial. Since then, all but two of the state's non-police witnesses from the trial have recanted or contradicted their testimony.

Many of these witnesses have stated in sworn affidavits that they were pressured or coerced by police into testifying or signing statements against Troy Davis.
