Hey guys!
I know you haven't heard from us in a bit, but that doesn't mean that
you're rid of us forever. We're backk muahahahahaha >:)
Just kidding, I think I'm running on an excessive amount of chocolate
at the moment, so bear with me.
Anyhow, to get back to the point, we're really sorry that we haven't
updated you in a while about the food drive progress, but at this
point, since the school year's about to come to a close, it's really
important that we decide as a group on what our next steps are going
to be. Jennifer and I have actually visited Safeway and tried to
contact their manager but apparently he vacations in some obscure
foreign country 24/7 so he's never there. Just kidding (well, you
never know...) . He's just rarely on site to communicate with, which
makes it difficult for us to finalize our coin drive plans with
Safeway. We were thinking that QFC might be a more plausible option,
but again, that means that someone needs to try getting a hold of
them. I would definitely be ready to stop by sometime and ask them,
but if anyone else visits QFC frequently and would be willing to that,
that would be great.
Just to give you an idea of what we're looking it, we're aiming for
Friday, June 15th (3:00- 6:00) and Saturday, June 16th (10:00 - 4:00)
to be our food drive days.
Additionally, it's important that we have parent supervision just in
case something sketchy goes down. Or, just because it's required XP
But in any case, if any of your parents would be willing to supervise
us, it would be awesome if you could let us know. :) In case you were
wondering, food drives usually run for about 3 hours, so if your
parents would even be able to stay for an hour or two, that would be
fine as well--we might be able to set up "shifts" of some sort.
The most important thing however is, you! We need to know how many of
you are available for these days, because we don't want one person
standing like a loner outside a grocery store. Never been in that
situation, but I don't think it would be fun. So, if you could reply
and let us know which days you'd be available to help out with, that
would be awesome.
Thanks guys! You're the best :D
