May4th meeting recap

Sorry this is kinda late...
But finalizing the coin drive:
-so to simplify the chain thing, there's gonna be three buckets 7,8,9th
-when we count the money, we can make the chains according to the amount in the bucket 1$=1 chain
-for those of you who said you could count money, mrs.poblete said we could do it at lunch! :)

Food drive thing
-whole foods? Hmm thinking about it, their stuff is pretty expensive, so do you guys think ppl would be willing to donate as much as if it were Safeway items?
-may 18th 19th
-spread info of red balloon project!! Sydneys idea :) +red balloon project buttons?

@naveen--more info on the website, facebook page, tumblr page? Which one haha we never really finalized...

I can't wait to do all of this stuff!!!!!! Another company bought the website I liked for the buttons, so everything is the same but, the prices went up a lot. So another website I found can sell us 100 mini buttons for $50.
Also for the make-believe tea party thingy, can everybody come up with a number of people they want to send these to (ex. family, extended family, family friends)? If you don't have any that speak English, like Alison brought up, translation is possible. :)

I could make a logo we can put on the stuff we use to spread the word about ourselves... And if we want to have a booth for Derby Days, the deadline for the application is June 8th, a month from now. It'd be a good way to spread the word, get donations for whatever, maybe have a small game at the booth too...

Haha thats a good idea--Derby Days is July 13-15...I'm gonna be gone during that time :P how many people are for sure going to be around?

And for the make-believe thing--everyone should have a general idea by Friday so we can tell Sydney! 

We can also offer some @ the food drive for free to anyone who wants it :)

Oh, the folk life festival is HUGE I don't know if we can get a booth... Oh wait, their application date is already past...
