Katie Lindsay was a poker agent at the height of the poker boom, brokering million-dollar deals for her clients in the middle of the biggest rush to sign poker talent the gambling world had ever seen. Chris Moorman was part of that rush, one of the top online tournament players in the world.

Our team is made up of a group of dedicated players, including our own Player Advisory Board and well-known journalists. We all have one thing in common: an avid passion and love for the game of poker.

Chris, known as Moorman1 online, is the most accomplished online poker player of all-time, becoming the first player ever to achieve the $13 Million milestone in lifetime online tournament winnings on PocketFives. Moorman has been ranked the #1 online player in the world 20 times and is the all-time PocketFives Triple Crown leader with 25 wins. Moorman has also finished in the top 3 in tournaments over a staggering 805 times.

Chris Moorman had surprisingly never won a major title before the World Poker Tour L.A. Poker Classic final table but he was still one of the most successful poker players of all time. He held close to $3 million in career live earnings and another $11 million online (online winnings information provided by www.pocketfives.com). Tonight in Los Angeles he booked his second million-dollar live cash and cemented his status as one of the all-time legends of British poker. Moorman topped a field of 534 players and he booked his first career title. Everyone in the poker world knew it was only a matter of time before this would happen, it was only a question of when and where. It is fitting that it came at one of the top tournaments on the WPT schedule. A marquee champion at a marquee event.

There are so many reasons why online poker is now the most popular way to play, with over 100 million players worldwide. Players get unparalleled convenience, software for easy game analysis, and exclusive site bonuses plus promotional offers. The internet has made poker more accessible than ever, greatly improving its appeal to casual players.

Moorman is also the all-time leader for the most PocketFives triple crown badges. The triple crown badge is a mark of prestige given to players who win three different tournaments with a prize pool of $10,000. These tournaments must also be across three different poker networks, and all wins must be in the span of a week. Moorman has a staggering thirty triple crown badges, nine more than the second-place player.

Chris Moorman was born on July 12, 1985, in Brighton, U.K.. Even at a young age, he was already driven by competition. Before picking up poker, he was a skilled bridge and pool player. He was introduced to bridge at 11 after learning it from his parents and was so good at the game he represented England in a national competition.

In his second year at the University, Moorman discovered poker while walking home from a pool tournament. He found out about a free weekly tournament online and immediately set out to get good at it, feeling like it was a natural fit for him.

By the time Moorman graduated from university, he was already earning a steady income from poker. He paid off his student loans and had an excess of about $70,000. The first time he had ever cashed in an online tournament was in July of 2006, where he finished fifth in a No Limit Holdem tournament for $13,062.

Once you begin reading higher-level strategy you'll quickly realise how much thought is necessary to outwit your opponents. That's why multi-tabling before you're ready is a big leak for novice online poker players.

Many strong poker players have written books explaining their thought processes. However, players at the low- to mid-stakes who want to advance to the highest levels find the leap a daunting one. Chris, through years of hard work, has achieved this advance and now wants to help you do the same.

Chris, known as Moorman1 online, is the most accomplished online poker player of all-time, becoming the first player ever to achieve the $10 Million milestone in lifetime online tournament winnings on PocketFives. Moorman is also currently ranked the #1 online player in the world and all-time PocketFives Triple Crown leader with 23 wins. Moorman has also finished in the top 3 in tournaments over a staggering 651 times.

Moorman has transcended from online poker easily to live poker with huge success as well. To date, he has been ranked in the Global Poker Index Top 10, achieved over $4 million in live tournament winnings, while amassing plenty of cashes and final tables along the way.
