The fabulous 50's-Rock and Roll,cars with fins,and RECTAL THERMOMETERS. I found this 1954 thermometer with certificate and original box."For the Baby" etched on the case and of course the "round-bulbed " rectal thermometer.Back in the day,before digitals,mom's used mercurcy rectal thermometers to take temperatures.
