Experience & Education
· Master’s degree in Computer Science or related degree preferred
· 10 + years of experience delivering enterprise solutions to financial services organizations as a hands-on engineer developing complex systems architecture
Professional Skills/Competency
· Experience with Foreign Exchange Upgrade or Implementation Program (FX Domain Experience preferred)
· Working experience on Data Architecture
· Working experience with APIs (Open Shift Containers, Micro services, Kubernetes preferred). Exposure to Apigee gateways.
· Working experience on System and Data Integrations – Batch and Real-Time Integration.
· Working experience on Messaging Service (Kafka Topics Preferred)
· Experience in SSO Setup, Knowledge on SAML2.0, OAuth2.0 protocols
· Knowledge on SWIFT protocols and MT message types.
· Knowledge on OFAC Screening, Fraud Detection and Pattern analysis.
· Deep understanding of Infrastructure Architecture (Firewall Rules, VPN Tunnel, Proxy Bypass configuration)
· Deep understanding on foundational aspects (Security, DevOps & Governance)
· Deep understanding of Enterprise Frameworks
· Knowledge and Understanding of Industry Trends and Best Practices
· Experience with delivering enterprise design patterns and end to end solution for mission critical highly available and scalable application involving vendors, custom development and matrixed IS organization

What you’ll do as a Data Analyst:
- Collaborate with Project Manager, business partners and teammates to jointly identify data needs required to meet project objectives Requirement
- Define and document standard calculation logic and business term definition in partnership with subject matter experts
- Document Data Mapping requirements and Field Level Design documents by capturing the data transformations and business rules and providing the technical Specs as foundation for the subsequent ETL work
- Reconcile source data with data at vendor to support transition to PWM DataHub and integrations to Wealth Applications
- Perform data analysis to understand the source data, its structure and underlying data granularity
- Build process flow diagrams that represent the flow of data between the different business processes and entities
- Manage the end-to-end process for ad hoc data requests: Intake, Prioritization and Delivery
- Build automated data quality check using combination of advanced SQL and Tableau, to ensure that data refreshes meet quality thresholds Requirement
- Communicate results and insights with project teams and stakeholders (e.g., through live presentations and ongoing analysis/reports)
- Run ad-hoc analysis for Product and Business Managers using standard query languages and operationalize for repeatable use via Tableau reporting suite
- Write SQL code which is used for creating End user Views which in turn enables business stakeholders to retrieve key data /metrics/reports on demand anytime.
Qualifications
What skills you will use:
- BA or BS in Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering required
- 5+ years of relevant experience in data analysis and/or data management
- 3+ years of relevant work experience with background in wealth management and Foreign exchange
- Experience working with Agile and/or Scrum methodologies preferred
- Experience working with Financial data systems preferred
- Experience working with software developers to implement robust interfaces between proprietary and non-proprietary systems
- Expert in writing SQL
- Excellent attention to detail and experience debugging code
- Experienced in data modeling techniques
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills - ability to quickly analyze data to identify key insights and apply them to the business
- Knowledge of Private Wealth Management/Investment Management – with ability to interpret definitions and calculations from business language to developer logic
- Knowledgeable of complex data models and software integration/delivery
