Need – 10+ Years of Experience.
We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer to build functional and efficient Eco Impact calculators and server-side applications. Senior Python Engineer responsibilities include participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle and interacting with partners to translate scientific knowledge into re-usable software code. If you’re a seasoned developer with a love for complex problems and back-end technologies, we d like to meet you.
Responsibilities:
· Help design and implement functional requirements
· Build efficient re-usable code (Open Source Project) in Python
· Integrate Python calculators into other upstream applications through APIs
· Write and Manage automated tests, code coverage and bug fixes
· Prepare technical documentation and managing Docker images
· Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements
Requirements:
· Solid experience as Python Developer
· Solid OOP principles and usage of Design Patterns
· Experience with Python frameworks (e.g. Django, Flask)
· Experience with Docker, CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps or Jenkins etc.)
· Familiarity with Microsoft Azure / Amazon Web Services and REST API
· Understanding of databases and SQL, NoSQL
· Knowledge of Serverless, Data Analysis and Microsoft Excel is a plus
· Attention to detail and rigour in automated tests.
