Job Title: Sr. VMware Engineer

Location: Bay Area, CA

NEED ONLY LOCALS

 

Required Skills:

·         7+ years of experience in Windows Infrastructure, VMWare Virtualization, Networking, Storage (good to Have)

·         Good to have understanding of PowerShell, MSI, RabbitMQ (AMQP)

·         Good knowledge of VMware infrastructure components and technologies (vCenter 6.0 and 6.5, ESXi, PowerCLI, SRM

·         Good knowledge of Windows Server and specifically Active Directory, Group Policies

·         Understanding converged infrastructure components (network, compute, and storage)

·         Understanding of Rest APIs, micro service architecture, and web based applications

·         Debugging customer environments (Network, AD, DNS, etc)

·         Excellent communication skills

 

Role:

·         Managing Jira cases, create dashboards and metrics

·         Responding to field and customers

·         Debugging customer environments (Network, AD, DNS, etc.)

·         Understanding network, compute, and storage concepts

·         Understanding VMWare technologies and environments

·         Great communication, need to follow up and document everything about the sustaining issue
