Job Description
You must be able to work independently and collaborate with Office of the Chief Information Officer and Iowa Homeland Security & Emergency Management Department partners.  The work will involve a large scope of Business Continuity Planning, including but not limited to, OpsPlanner ongoing training and configuration, BIA reviews and workshops, Technology DR templates and documentation, plan tracking by agency, and involvement with agency planning as needed.  This candidate will work on multiple critical projects and reports to Deputy Director\CISO.   Responsibilities: ·        Subject Matter Expert in Business Continuity Planning & OpsPlanner ·        Oversee COOP/COG Planners for all agencies without direction ·        Improve risk management criteria for prioritization and restoration of critical services ·        Build and maintain positive relationships with all levels of management and across all state agencies ·        Administration and configuration of OpsPlanner ·        Facilitate OpsPlanner training, as required. ·        Develop and perform Quality Assurance and Audits for optimal recovery solutions and planning ·        Facilitate meetings with users and business owners to determine needs and risks as they relate to COOP/COG. ·        Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) reviews for agencies. ·        Prepare and present recommendations and status to State of Iowa Executives. ·        Experience and knowledge of state government and organizational structure. ·        Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed expectations ·        Recognized ability to produce and drive results ·        Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
