We are currently looking for Data Visualization candidates. The main requirement here is experience with PowerBI. It is for a rather senior candidate (JG4).
Primary skills:
PowerBI Mastery, Data Engineering - Skill, SQL Server Analysis Services
Skills:
• Can create power BI reports end-to-end - plug into curated data from the data lake, model the data and configure visualization via dax measures etc. (SQL+AAS+Power BI+Data Analysis)
• Is a solid communicator, always ready to express their viewpoint (would like the engineer to own the visualization)
• Has an agile mindset, can work with PO/PM to break down complex requirements into an MVP functionality, and then deliver enhancements every sprint.
Position#2:
Title: Sr. Reporting Business Analyst/Business Data Analyst
Location: Boston MA (Day 1 Onsite)
Duration: Long Term

Business Need
Senior Business Analyst needed to be the lead on driving operational client reporting work. This person needs to be experienced in working with business partners to gather requirements and working on an agile team to deliver technology solutions. This person will scope out new work and work with others within the technology organization to determine appropriate technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Performs analysis of business activities to determine business requirements.
- Acts as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the technology organization to ensure proper implementation of requirements.
- Works closely with business stakeholders and other technology professionals to deliver solutions.
- Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent experience in a business or technology related field.
- 7+ years’ experience in the financial services industry, supporting buy-side technology. Ideally, experience working within asset management.
- Strong technical skills including an intermediate level proficiency working with SQL and databases. Experience working with different reporting platforms and performing data analysis.
- Ability to consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future state business environment.
- Strong communication & presentation skills both verbally and written
- Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
Position#3:
Title: Data Architect – AWS/Python
Location: Tampa, FL
Duration: Long Term
Responsibilities:
- Write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your clients (Java, Python)
- Contribute to end-to-end data architecture and solutions
- Design data models for optimal storage & retrieval and integrate with enterprise Data Catalog to register metadata
- Devise data quality checks to ensure high quality of data
- Write and review technical documents, including design, requirements, and process documentation
- Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise
- Identify problem causality, business impact and root causes
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Client, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in a Software Engineering role for designing and/or building the solution for AWS.
- Experience in creating large scale data processing pipelines for streaming and computing with data technologies such as any of the following: AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, Spark, Flink, Hadoop or similar
- Good working knowledge of containers (Kubernetes/OpenShift/EKS or similar) and experience building cloud native applications that run on containers
- Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Scala, Python, Go.
- Certification in AWS is highly desirable
- Knowledge in any ANSI SQL
- Experience with AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS S3
- Build Complex SQL queries for data Analysis using Athena\Starburst
- Familiarity with Domain Driven Design and Event Driven Architecture
- Experience in modern microservices architectures and deployments
- Experience working with relational/NoSQL databases
- Ability to communicate thoughtfully, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a learning mentality to build long-term relationships
- Experienced in dealing with Sr audience and be able present technical material to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
- Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Proven track record of operational process changes and improvement
