Title: Hyperion Planning Resource
Location: Silver Spring, MD
Contract: 6 months to begin
Job Description:
Planning Developer will be responsible for the development of objects (web forms, business rules, calc scripts etc) to support the deployment of two applications to support budget formulation and budget execution. The developer will need to have the ability to review functional specifications to perform design activities related to the Planning application configuration. The developer will need to interact with team members and client staff to review any requirements that are not clear enough to perform design/configuration activities. The developer will be responsible for assisting with the review and maintenance of metadata update processes utilizing DRM and ODI. The developer will responsible for assisting with the process of reviewing data loads and transfers between Hyperion Planning and external systems. The developer will assist team members with configuration management activities to migrate application objects between various environments (DEV, TEST etc). The developer will need to develop reports using HFR and Smart View The developer will need to develop and maintain technical documentation for all objects that are configured using project approved templates.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of three to five (3-5) years’ experience with the Hyperion Planning product suite (preferably on-premise version)
- Minimum of two (2) large full lifecycle deployments of Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Reporting (HFR) and Smart View (preference given to Federal/Government projects)
- Highly experienced in developing and optimizing complex business rules that perform aggregations, allocations and data exports
- Highly experienced in developing complex composite web forms utilizing user variables to drive form content and aggregations
- Highly experienced in developing efficient formatted Hyperion Financial Reports that include chart objects
- Highly experienced in reviewing and optimizing overall application performance tuning
- Intermediate experience of loading and reconciling data load processes to valid load success
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Additional Skills:
- Some experience of Oracle Data Integration (ODI) processes for loading metadata and data into Hyperion Planning applications
- Some experience of sourcing metadata from Hyperion Data Relationship Management (DRM)
- Some experience of integrating Hyperion Planning data into Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) reports and dashboards
