Greetings,

Hope you are doing well!

We are looking for an AI Engineer – AWS Bedrock & Anthropic Claude. Below is the job description for your reference. Please have a look and share the best level of your interest.

Role: AI Engineer – AWS Bedrock & Anthropic Claude (10 - 15 yrs)

Client: Bristlecone

Location: Remote (Travel Required)

Type: Contract

Position Overview

Think of this role as a "Full-Stack GenAI Engineer." & this is actually a hands-on Engineering role. They want a developer who can write the code, connect the AI, set up the database, and ship working features daily without needing a manager to watch over them

The company is looking for a builder who can create, code, and deploy AI-driven software tools, rather than someone who just analyzes spreadsheets or trains traditional statistics models

Here is a breakdown of what the role actually means:

1. The Core Focus: Generative AI Development

  • What you will use: AWS Bedrock and Anthropic Claude
  • What you will do: You will use AWS's cloud AI platform to connect with Claude [1]. You will write new code and rewrite (refactor) old code to make applications smarter using AI

2. The Tech Stack: Modern AI & Data

  • Typescript CDK (Cloud Development Kit): You will use TypeScript to write code that sets up and manages cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • MCP (Model Context Protocol) for Jira: You will configure the new Model Context Protocol. This lets the Claude AI model directly "talk" to Jira to read tasks, update tickets, or automate project tracking.
  • Azure CosmosDB: You will work with a fast, NoSQL database to store and retrieve data used by your AI applications.
  • Local & AVD Environments: You must be able to run, test, and debug your entire code setup directly on your laptop or inside an Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

3. The Work Culture: Extreme Independence

  • No Handholding: You will not get a step-by-step guide. You must figure out how to solve problems on your own.
  • Uncertain Environments: The project requirements might change fast. You need to be okay with ambiguity and shifting goals.
  • Daily Tangible Output: You cannot spend weeks just researching. You need to write working code and show concrete progress every single day
  • Small Team: You will work in a fast-paced, startup-like group where everyone must carry their own weight
