Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Cypress automation, API testing, and database validation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications through both automated and manual testing, while integrating test processes within CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress
· Perform API testing using tools like Postman or REST clients
· Conduct database testing by validating data integrity and backend processes
· Execute manual testing for new features, exploratory testing, and edge cases
· Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD
· Manage code repositories and version control using GitHub
· Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies
· Identify, log, and track defects using appropriate tools
· Ensure test coverage, test data management, and reporting
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Strong hands-on experience with Cypress automation testing
· Good understanding of API testing and RESTful services
· Experience in database testing (SQL queries, data validation)
· Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD processes
· Proficiency in GitHub for version control
· Solid knowledge of manual testing methodologies and test case design
· Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
