Position: Salesforce Integration Consultant with SAP ECC

Client: Bristlecone 

Location: St. Louis, MO (Hybrid - 2 week travel/month)

Type of role: Contract


Note: Our client is a Global Agribusiness and Food leader with a primary B2B focus, though they also maintain a retail presence through branded products in specific markets.
This is currently an ECC Merger not S4 Hana project.

Job Description:
The Salesforce Integration Consultant will execute stabilization and integration activities for Salesforce CRM within a multi-entity, multi-instance enterprise systems landscape following a merger. The role is accountable for protecting Salesforce data integrity, validating CRM ↔ SAP ECC integration flows, ensuring continuity of critical customer and sales processes, and supporting cutover readiness.
This is a senior, hands-on execution role requiring active participation in mock conversions, interface validation, reconciliation checks, and production cutover support. This is not a Salesforce feature implementation project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate Salesforce CRM master and transactional data impacted by company code consolidation
  • Ensure continuity of CRM integration into finance & operations via APIs and middleware during cutover
  • Review, troubleshoot, and validate Salesforce ↔ SAP ECC integrations for accounts, opportunities, orders, invoices, and related entities
  • Diagnose and resolve integration errors, data mismatches, and synchronization failures impacting financial close or customer process flows
  • Collaborate with SAP functional, Integration/PI-PO/BTP, and Salesforce teams to resolve interface defects
  • Support reconciliation of CRM data with SAP ECC and reporting systems during mock conversions
  • Participate in cutover execution and first consolidated close validation for CRM touchpoints
  • Document defects, resolution steps, and reconciliation checkpoints for Finance and Technology leadership
Required Experience (10–15 Years)
  • 10–15 years of experience with Salesforce CRM in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with Salesforce data models, APIs, and integration patterns
  • Hands-on experience validating Salesforce integrations to ERP systems (e.g., API calls, middleware layers such as SAP PI/PO or BTP)
  • Strong troubleshooting and defect resolution skills for cross-system data flows
  • Experience with Salesforce back-end development (e.g., Apex, data transformations, REST/SOAP APIs) or equivalent deep technical exposure
  • Experience participating in complex system cutovers and reconciliation exercises
  • Strong understanding of enterprise master data management and synchronization challenges
  • Ability to work with high business visibility and financial/revenue impacts
  • Success Profile
  • Understands CRM and ERP integration challenges under structural consolidation
  • Quickly isolates integration defects impacting financial, order, or customer flows
  • Protects continuity of CRM processes under compressed timelines
  • Communicates effectively with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders
  • Maintains accountability through mock conversion and post-go-live stabilization
