Role:
  • Support the Field Service Engineering teams for installation/commissioning and repairs in the UK
  • Provide installation, support and commissioning engineering resource in the field, world-wide at times at short notice
  • Be the first point of contact for customers prior to carrying out field duties
  • Prepare test equipment/tools/spares/installation materials prior to mobilisation, this may entail short notice being given
  • Provide accurate and detailed technical reports for all activities and give feedback to facilitate future service planning and improvements
  • Maintain inventory of materials and test equipment held and to record usage and reinstatement
  • Ensure technical knowledge and familiarisation with company products is maintained
Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and or IT systems
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills
  • Must enjoy being hands on and being able to work under own initiative.
  • Be up to date with the Latest technology, IT and computer skills
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed
