Job Description Summary

As a Cyber Crisis Management leader, you will combine your leadership and cyber security expertise to help GE protect its global brand, products, customers, and business partners. In this role, you will be a critical member of GE responsible for executing cyber incident response with top leadership and developing effective response processes for real-word cyber incidents impacting GE.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis management support during cyber related incidents to include acting as incident commander during high pressure cyber security incidents

• Function as a key member of the Crisis Management Team coordinating and facilitating crisis management and incident response during significant cyber events.

• Ability to lead complex IT initiatives to assess the security posture and defense capability of the cyber teams.

• Spearhead development of cyber crisis management playbooks, run books and plans to ensure effective response during a significant event.

• Contribute to the development and execution of crisis management exercises to include full simulations and tabletops across GE businesses to drive continuous improvement and education

• Establish and maintain strong relationships across all GE businesses and key stakeholders

• Prepare and present project plans, status reports, cost / benefit analysis and program updates as required

• Understand and adhere to the regulatory and compliance requirements that impact either current business operations or potential client engagements

• Partner with stakeholders and executive leaders to enhance and deliver effective and efficient services to protect the global brand

• Provide input to GE security solutions to ensure teams are delivering on business outcomes in a secure manner

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience

• Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources

• Experience working with others on a global basis

• Applies knowledge to coach and mentor others

• Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives

• Strong analytical and strong problem solving skills -communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans

• Change oriented – actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly
