Job Title: SAP BI/BW HANA Consultant

Location: Greensboro, NC (Onsite)

Job Summary:
The SAP BI/BW HANA Analyst supports the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise reporting and analytics solutions in the SAP ecosystem. This role partners with business and technology teams to translate reporting and analytics requirements into scalable technical solutions using SAP BW, SAP HANA, and related BI tools. The analyst helps ensure data quality, reporting accuracy, and production stability while supporting ongoing enhancements and issue resolution.

Key responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain SAP BI/BW and HANA-based reporting solutions, data models, queries, and dashboards.
Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications and reporting solutions.
Build and optimize ETL/data integration processes to support enterprise reporting and analytics needs.
Support users by troubleshooting reporting issues, validating data accuracy, and resolving defects in a timely manner.
Review reports and dashboards for data integrity and alignment with business needs.
Partner with application, database, and business teams to identify root causes of data and reporting issues.
Participate in testing, implementation, and production support for BI solutions and enhancements.
Create and maintain technical documentation, report definitions, and support procedures.
Contribute to small projects and play a significant role in larger technology initiatives.
Help improve reporting performance, governance, and best practices across the BI environment.
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience with SAP BI/BW, SAP HANA, and enterprise reporting environments.
Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data integration concepts.
Experience transforming business requirements into technical deliverables.
Ability to analyze issues, recommend solutions, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience supporting dashboards, standardized reports, and ad hoc reporting requests.
Preferred qualifications
Experience in banking or financial services.
