Job Title: Talend Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC/  Atlanta, GA / Dallas, TX (Onsite)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Talend Developer to design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions for Truist Financial Corporation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Talend ETL, data warehousing, and financial services data environments. This role involves working closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality, scalable data pipelines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy ETL processes using Talend Data Integration and Talend Big Data Platform
  • Build and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and loading of large datasets
  • Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, and cloud platforms
  • Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with banking regulations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production environments
  • Support data warehousing initiatives and reporting systems
  • Document ETL processes, data mappings, and workflows

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in ETL development using Talend Data Integration
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake schema)
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and scripting
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git
  • Understanding of data quality and data governance practices
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in banking or financial services (especially with Truist Financial Corporation or similar institutions)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Talend certification is a plus
