Job Title: TeamCenter Developer
Location: California West Coast (Remote with Travel)
Implementation: Infosys


Job Description:

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Teamcenter Developer to design, develop, and support PLM solutions tailored for semiconductor product development. The role involves customizing Teamcenter to manage complex product data, workflows, and integrations across engineering systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and customize Teamcenter modules based on business requirements

Design and implement workflows, handlers, and extensions for semiconductor product lifecycle processes

Use BMIDE (Business Modeler IDE) to configure data models, object types, and relationships

Develop server-side and client-side customizations using ITK, SOA, and RAC

Integrate Teamcenter with tools like EDA systems, ERP, and other enterprise applications

Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM), part structures, and change management processes

Support data migration, upgrades, and system performance tuning

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, QA)

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues



Required Skills

Strong experience in Siemens Teamcenter development

Proficiency in:

C/C++ (for ITK customization)

Java (for RAC/SOA customization)


Hands-on experience with:

BMIDE

Workflow Designer

Access Manager


Knowledge of Teamcenter architecture (2-tier / 4-tier)

Experience in database concepts (Oracle / SQL Server)

Understanding of UNIX/Linux and Windows environments


Semiconductor Domain Knowledge (Highly Preferred)

Familiarity with chip design lifecycle (RTL → GDSII)

Experience with EDA tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics)

Understanding of:

IP management

Design revisions and tape-out processes

Configuration and variant management

Good to Have

Experience with Teamcenter Active Workspace (AWC)

Knowledge of integration frameworks (T4S, T4EA)

Scripting knowledge (Python, Shell)

Exposure to Agile methodologies
