Sr. Elastic Principal Architect

100% Remote

6+ Months

 

Job Description:

• Operates in a lead and oversight role on multiple concurrent projects.
• Responsible for overall success of multiple projects
• Responsible for overall success of larger, multi-workstream projects including the associated delivery team
• Responsible for directing Architects and Engineers on projects within a region or specialization.
• Responsible for scoping projects for complexity and level-of-effort for larger and/or ore complex opps.
• Works closely with the Field organization to build their region or specialization.
• Required certifications:
• Elastic Certified Engineer
• 1 solution certification (Search or Observability or Security)
• Core competencies include:
• Industry-recognized technical thought leader and presenter (public, customer, internal)
• Mentoring Principal Architects and grooming of selected Architects
• Foundational technical and people skills (good interpersonal communications)
• Comfortable with the travel requirements of the position
• Produces major code, research, and/or technical guides for internal and external use.
• Must be a Tech Lead on one or more areas of technology

• External Content Delivery (i.e., webinar, blog) 1 per year
• Provide contributions to build out new service offerings and enablement
• All previous level responsibilities Provide Project Delivery Oversight
• Prior successful participation in ARB
• Directs ARB as requested

 

General Guidelines:

• 10+ years of combined direct and relevant work experience
• 2 - 5 years in Sr. Principal Consulting Architect role, on average (may require more less time in role for individuals)
• Uses advanced expertise across multiple disciplines; applies a combination of best practice concepts and professional experience to manage goals and objectives needed to drive outcomes.
• Work requires evaluation of intangible and/or ambiguous situations to create a course of action to address issues and resolve problems.
• Unique Organizational impact across multiple departments

 

Contributor Guidelines:

• Operates with significant autonomy and discretion; minimal management oversight and direction is required.
• Leads and directs work for varying levels of colleagues and/project teams.
