Job Role: .NET back-end developer
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled .NET Back-End Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Web APIs and other back-end services. While the primary focus will be on back-end development, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is required to support integration with front-end and work with front-end development team.
The ideal candidate is a quick learner with strong technical skills who can independently contribute to a project with minimal guidance.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and maintain APIs and web services using .NET Core, C# and Entity Framework
• Document Web APIs using Swagger and other documentation tools as needed
• Write unit tests using a testing framework to develop testable APIs
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Work with the Oracle database to understand existing schemas, tables, and backend logic and write queries for optimized performance.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Contribute to software architecture decisions and technical discussions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience as a .NET developer with at least 2 years of experience in .NET Core and C#
• 2+ years of experience working with Oracle (preferred) or other RDBMS
• Experience in developing a data layer using Entity Framework with Oracle as a backend
• Proficient in writing efficient, maintainable, and testable code
• Experience working with source code version control systems
• Experience and knowledge of Azure DevOps services is a huge plus
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns is preferred
• Experience of working in an Agile framework and working with cross-functional teams
