Architect / Presales – Data & Analytics
Chicago, IL or Michigan (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite/week)
Contract

Prior experience working with MARS Incorporated is mandatory.
What You’ll Do
• Act as solution architect and technical advisor across presales cycles
• Lead discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and solution presentations
• Design scalable, secure data platforms using AWS, Snowflake, and dbt
• Develop reference architectures, solution blueprints, SOWs, and proposals
• Partner with sales, delivery, and engineering to support deal closure
• Advise on cloud migration, data modernization, and analytics roadmaps
• Support POCs, demos, and technical validations
• Communicate complex architectures to both technical and executive audiences
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years in data, analytics, or cloud architecture roles
• Strong presales / customer-facing experience
• Deep expertise with:
o AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM, Redshift)
o Snowflake (architecture, performance, cost governance)
o dbt (modeling, transformations, deployments)
• Proven experience supporting RFPs/RFIs and proposal development
• Previous experience with MARS Incorporated (required)
Preferred
• AWS, Snowflake, or dbt certifications
• Consulting or professional services background
• Strong executive presentation and stakeholder management skills
