We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Web Developer to join our team remotely from the USA or Canada. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with BigCommerce, Magento, and WordPress, along with a solid understanding of website development, customization, integrations, and ongoing maintenance. Experience with ASP.NET is considered a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain e-commerce websites using BigCommerce, Magento, and WordPress.
Implement new features, enhancements, and third-party integrations.
Troubleshoot website issues and provide timely resolutions.
Optimize website performance, security, and user experience.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, designers, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Manage website updates, plugins, themes, and platform upgrades.
Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Required Skills
Strong experience with BigCommerce, Magento, and WordPress.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and related web technologies.
Experience with API integrations, payment gateways, and e-commerce workflows.
Knowledge of website performance optimization and security best practices.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with ASP.NET and related Microsoft technologies.
Familiarity with SQL Server and web application development.
Experience with source control tools such as Git.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
9+ years of experience in web and e-commerce development.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the USA or Canada.
