What You'll Be Testing:
- Point-of-sale transaction flows on the Manhattan retail POS platform — sales, returns, discounts, and tender processing.
- POS behavior against physical terminal hardware and peripherals in the on-site lab (scanners, printers, card readers).
- Store-level connectivity scenarios, including offline mode and recovery behavior.
- Regression coverage across POS releases, with particular attention to holiday/peak-season code-freeze stability.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in QA with hands-on automation script development and maintenance as a core, ongoing responsibility.
- In-person experience with the Manhattan Associates retail POS platform needed
- Willingness and ability to work fully on-site at a designated retail technology lab.
- Comfort troubleshooting hardware-dependent test scenarios directly, including physical device and terminal issues.
- Automation scripting proficiency (Python preferred).
- Methodical documentation habits — POS defects often need precise hardware/firmware/software version detail to reproduce.
Good to Have
- Direct experience with other retail POS platforms (Aptos, Xstore, or comparable) as a secondary reference point.
- Omnichannel retail testing exposure (BOPIS, curbside, ship-from-store).
- Experience with peak-season load or stress testing of retail systems.
