Role: Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: AUSTIN TX AREA Hybrid

Experience: 15+ years of IT experience and 10+ years of experience in DevOps for a long-term Hybrid contract role in Austin, TX.

 

 

Duration of contract: initially 8 months (likely to be extended)

Has to be local to Austin, TX area!!!

 

Hybrid Contract (Mon – Wed ONSITE in Austin, TX / 2 days WFH)

Location - Austin, Texas - Client will review local Austin profiles ONLY!!!

 

2 MS Teams interviews (the last interview 100% WILL BE onsite in Austin!)

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

 

·        Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC).

·        Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).

·        Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).

·        Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

·        Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK stack).

·        Familiarity with Linux administration, scripting (Python, Bash), and version control (Git).

·        Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

·        Familiarity with performance tuning and high-availability strategies (PREFERRED).

·        Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven workflows (PREFERRED).
