Role: ServiceNow Business Analyst

Location: Austin, TX - 4 Days Onsite

Duration: 6 Months

Note: Please don't share Developer profiles; the client is purely looking for a ServiceNow BA 

Rate: $50/hr on C2C

 

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to understand business needs and process improvement opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into ServiceNow solutions across modules such as ITSM, Service Catalog, Change Management, Incident Management, and related workflows.
• Create process maps, workflows, and documentation to support project delivery and user adoption.
• Collaborate with ServiceNow developers, administrators, and project teams throughout the SDLC.
• Support testing activities, including UAT planning, test case development, execution, and defect tracking.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Assist with change management, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, with at least 3 years supporting ServiceNow initiatives.
• Experience gathering requirements, writing user stories, and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Knowledge of Agile and/or Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and common modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or SPM preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
