Role :- Appian Tech Lead with BFSI/FinTech domain experience

Location :- Remote (United states)(Occasional travel to Maryland)

Rate :- $60/hr on C2C MAX

Job Description :-

key requirement is strong hands-on Appian experience, along with BFSI/FinTech domain experience, preferably with prior US client-facing experience.

 

Experience: 6–8 Years
Location: US Onshore

Role Summary

• Lead development and delivery of Appian BPM solutions.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and solution design.
• Work directly with US-based stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable Appian solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Appian application development and delivery.
• Design and develop Appian components including SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, CDTs, Rules, and Constants.
• Define and enforce Appian development best practices and coding standards.
• Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Web APIs, databases, and external systems.
• Perform code reviews and ensure solution quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Drive application performance, optimization, scalability, and security.
• Mentor developers and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and client discussions.

Required Skills

• 6–8 years of IT experience with strong hands-on Appian expertise.
• Strong experience in:
• SAIL Interfaces
• Process Models
• Records & Reports
• CDTs, Rules, and Constants
• Appian optimization and performance tuning
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Web API integrations.
• Good hands-on understanding of SQL and database concepts.
• Knowledge of system design, performance optimization, and scalability.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and basic DevOps practices.

Leadership & Client Skills

• Experience leading/mentoring teams of 6–10 members.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work directly with US-based clients and drive technical discussions.
• Ability to take ownership and drive technical decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• BFSI / FinTech / Banking domain experience strongly preferred, particularly experience with US financial-services clients.
• Appian Certified Senior Developer / L3 certification preferred.
• Prior US Onshore or client-facing experience is an advantage.
