Title: Security Engineer with AWS 

Location: Los Angeles, CA / Las Vegas, NV (Onsite)

Loca to CA / NV  NEED GC and USC only 

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Security Engineer to design, implement, and secure our AWS-based infrastructure, virtual desktop environment, and internal access architecture.

You will lead the deployment of secure AWS WorkSpaces, hardened Linux VM environments, and modern identity-based access controls.

 Responsibilities

• Architect and secure AWS infrastructure environments

• Deploy and secure AWS WorkSpaces environments

• Build and harden private Linux virtual machine environments

• Implement identity-based SSH access and eliminate static SSH keys

• Design and deploy secure network access using Tailscale

• Establish logging, monitoring, and backup standards

• Decommission legacy and unmanaged systems

• Document security architecture and operational standards

Qualifications

• Strong experience in AWS security or infrastructure engineering

• Deep knowledge of IAM, VPC design, EC2, and cloud security practices

• Experience deploying or operating virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI)

• Strong Linux administration and system hardening experience

• Familiarity with zero trust networking concepts

• Experience with infrastructure as code

• Ability to operate independently and design long-term scalable systems

 Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS WorkSpaces

• Experience with Tailscale or modern secure access solutions

• Experience supporting compliance initiatives (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
