ServiceNow SecOps Developer – Vulnerability Response / Configuration Compliance

I’m reaching out regarding a ServiceNow Developer opportunity focused on ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps), particularly Vulnerability Response and Configuration Compliance.
Location: Portland, OR or Dallas, TX
Work arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
Interview: 2–3 rounds, with the second round being technically focused
The role is with a major financial services organization and involves developing and enhancing ServiceNow SecOps solutions supporting AI-driven vulnerability management and technical compliance programs.
Key requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development/configuration
- Strong experience with ServiceNow Security Operations / SecOps
- Hands-on experience with Vulnerability Response and Configuration Compliance
- 3+ years of JavaScript development
- Experience creating/configuring OOTB and custom workflows
- Experience with IntegrationHub and integrating scanner/security data into ServiceNow
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Understanding of information security, regulatory, and compliance requirements
- ServiceNow certifications, especially CSA, are preferred
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow SecOps modules
- Build and enhance workflows and automation
- Integrate vulnerability/scanner data into ServiceNow
- Perform peer code reviews
- Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow problem statements
- Support incident reconciliation
- Work directly with end users and technical stakeholders
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and requirements grooming
- Prototype and implement new SecOps solutions
