JOB DESCRIPTION
A client in Sleepy Hollow, NY is looking for a Technical Project Manager to sit hybrid, to support a large-scale transformation from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion, with a specific focus on the downstream technology and integration impacts created by the migration. The core Fusion implementation is being managed by a separate program, while this person will focus on how those changes impact approximately 40 integrations across systems such as Workday, Beeline, Travel & Expense, HR platforms, and other enterprise applications. The PM will partner with technical SMEs and business stakeholders to understand how changes within the ERP environment affect connected systems, including changes to APIs, data flows, data mapping, GL codes, field formatting, databases, and other integration points. They will coordinate and track integration workstreams, regression testing, data conversions, dependencies, risks, timelines, and overall readiness for this phase of the Fusion implementation. This PM will also need to navigate changes to existing technology and business processes throughout the transformation. This person needs to be comfortable with a rate of $70-80/hr depending on level of experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager, leading complex, enterprise technology initiatives with multiple interconnected systems. Strong understanding of system integrations, including APIs, data flows, databases, data mapping, file/field formatting, and upstream/downstream dependencies.
- Experience managing projects involving ERP systems and enterprise-wide technology transformations.
- Ability to understand the downstream or secondary impacts of a core system change and determine how connected applications will need to adjust.
- Experience coordinating and tracking integration testing, regression testing, data conversions, data mapping, dependencies, risks, and technical deliverables.
- Ability to work across numerous technical teams, SMEs, and the business simultaneously Strong stakeholder and project management skills with the ability to keep a large number of integration workstreams organized and moving toward a common deadline.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience with Oracle Fusion implementations or migrations. Experience working with Oracle EBS, particularly migrations from a legacy EBS environment to Oracle Fusion. Experience with Workday integrations. Exposure to integrations involving Beeline, Travel & Expense, HR, finance, or other enterprise systems. Experience supporting an ERP/cloud transformation that also included business process changes, rather than a straightforward lift-and-shift migration. Experience managing a large integration portfolio involving dozens of interconnected applications.
