Job Description:
Senior Full-Stack Java Developer to support critical manufacturing and business applications for a large-scale manufacturing facility in Decatur, IL. This individual will serve as a key member of the factory systems support team, ensuring the stability, performance, and ongoing enhancement of applications that support the entire manufacturing lifecycle, from dealer order processing through production, warehousing, financial operations, and shipment.
This position is primarily focused on application support, troubleshooting, system reliability, and sustaining engineering efforts, rather than net-new software development. The consultant will provide backfill support for a lead developer who is focused on strategic modernization and warehouse automation initiatives.
Day to day support work – 75%
Brand new dev work – 25%
Frontend – 20%
Backend – 80% (data issues, pods have crashed, open shift, what is this logic doing)
The successful candidate will be:

Technical Skills:
• Frontend: spring boot, MVC,
typescript, JavaScript, angular (not sure the version)
• Java (version 8 is what they are using but open to other versions)
• Oracle
• SQL
• CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, GIT Hub
