Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Appian Developer to design, build, and implement an Appian-based application integrated with a SQL database. This role will be responsible for application design, development, testing, and delivery, ensuring the solution meets business needs while maintaining scalability and performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

Application Design

  • Design overall application architecture, including data models, workflows, and user interfaces.
  • Refine and optimize the SQL database schema to support application requirements.

 

Development

  • Build a SQL database to store program environment data, components, and labor estimates.
  • Define tables, relationships, indexes, and constraints.
  • Develop Appian application features, including:
  • Data structures for tracking program environments and components.
  • Interfaces for data entry, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Process models for workflow automation.
  • Business rules for validation and logic.
  • Integrate the Appian application with the SQL database and existing systems as needed.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure application functionality.
  • Implement updates and enhancements based on user feedback.

 

Deliverables

  • Comprehensive documentation of implemented capabilities.
  • Fully functional Appian application delivered to specifications.
  • Final knowledge transfer and handoff session.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience developing applications in Appian.
  • Strong SQL development skills, including schema design, queries, and optimization.
  • Experience designing workflows, business rules, and integrations in Appian.
  • Familiarity with application testing and debugging best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
