Role: SCRUM MASTER

Location: San Diego CA Local 

Duration: 12 months

Visa: Gc/usc

     

 

Candidate must be open to work 5 days a week from office

Experience:  Mid-level

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·       Coordinate Scrum of Scrums and cross-team planning, tracking, and reporting.

·       Support Program Increment (PI) Planning and other SAFe ceremonies.

·       Manage team data and metrics using Azure DevOps (ADO).

·       Generate and maintain reports, dashboards, and charts in Excel and Power BI.

·       Track sprint and release metrics, dependencies, and delivery progress.

·       Work closely with the IT Division head to streamline operations and improve visibility.

For Workforce Applications Scrum Master:

·       Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.

·       Support a .NET application development team delivering new features and enhancements.

·       Ensure adherence to Agile principles and continuous improvement practices.

·       Manage sprint metrics and stakeholder reporting via Azure DevOps and Excel/Power BI.

·       Remove impediments and ensure effective communication within and across teams.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

·       3–6 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Coordinator.

·       Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum practices; exposure to SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) preferred or willingness to learn.

·       Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for sprint planning, work item tracking, and reporting.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, charts, pivot tables) and Power BI for creating simple dashboards and reports.

·       Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.

·       Ability to work onsite full-time in San Diego.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·       SAFe or Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, SA, etc.)

·       Experience coordinating multiple Agile teams or release trains.

·       Background supporting IT or software development projects (.NET preferred).
