Job Title: AI Governance Specialist

Location: Remote

 

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI Governance Specialist to develop, implement, and oversee governance frameworks, policies, and compliance standards for AI systems across the organization. The ideal candidate will ensure that all AI models are transparent, ethical, secure, and aligned with regulatory guidelines and organizational risk standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI governance frameworks, including policies for model lifecycle management, ethical use, and responsible AI practices.
• Ensure compliance with global AI regulations, data privacy laws, and emerging industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments on AI systems and implement controls to mitigate potential ethical, security, or operational risks.
• Collaborate with data science, product, legal, and security teams to ensure governance requirements are integrated throughout the AI development lifecycle.
• Establish processes for model documentation, auditability, explainability, and performance monitoring.
• Lead reviews of AI models to assess bias, fairness, accuracy, and compliance with responsible AI standards.
• Create training materials and conduct workshops on AI governance best practices for internal teams.
• Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, US AI policies, India’s Digital India Act, etc.) and advise leadership on compliance readiness.
• Support the creation of incident response plans specific to AI-related risks.
