1) Leadership & Governance
• Act as SPOC for EWM at the site; own daily standups, incident triage, and executive updates.
• Govern AMS delivery (incidents/problems/changes), enforce SLAs, and manage backlog/aging.
• Lead Fit to Standard / solution workshops; challenge custom demands and promote SAP best practices.
• Manage multi-vendor/offshore teams; conduct code and config quality reviews; ensure audit/compliance.
• Run weekly governance with KPIs, risks, and release notes, drive stakeholder alignment, and sign offs.
2) EWM Functional Ownership
• Design & configure core Inbound (ASN/GR/QA), Internal (putaway, replenishment, RF), and Outbound (picking, packing, staging, loading, GI) processes.
• Set up and optimize:
o Storage types/sections/bins, WOCR, WT strategies, Putaway/Picking strategies
o HU management, Serials, Batch managed flows
o POSC/LOSC, Labor Management (if in scope), Physical Inventory
o Yard Management, Cross Docking, VMI/3PL scenarios (optional)
• Configure PPF actions, Condition techniques, Warehouse Monitor, and RF frameworks.
• Troubleshoot qRFC/queues, IDocs, and integration issues with automation (conveyors, AS/RS, sorters, scanners).
3) Integration & Cross Module
• Own EWM integration with SD (outbound deliveries), MM (inbound GR), PP (staging/Kanban), QM (inspection lots), GTS/TM where applicable.
• Coordinate with Basis/Security for user roles, performance, and transport governance; collaborate with ABAP for WRICEF objects.
4) Projects & Enhancements
• Lead change initiatives: solution design, Functional Specs, SIT/UAT, cutover planning, and hypercare.
• Evaluate and implement Fiori apps for warehouse operations; standardize SOPs/KEDB and training.
5) AMS & Continuous Improvement
• Handle L3 incidents and root cause analysis; implement preventive fixes and automation.
• Drive productivity (e.g., optimized WO creation, slotting, RF screen flows) and reduce manual steps.
• Track and improve KPIs: pick accuracy, dock to stock time, order cycle time, and stock discrepancies.
