Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Kafka to join our dynamic team. As a contractor, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining high quality software solutions that meet our business needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software development principles and a passion for delivering innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust applications using Java 8, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Implement and manage messaging systems using Kafka to ensure efficient data processing and communication.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand ups, and retrospectives.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java 8 is a deal breaker.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot framework.
• Proficient in front end development using Angular.
• Hands on experience with Kafka for messaging and data streaming.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10 years of professional experience in software development.
• Proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions on time.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
