JOB SUMMARY
Senior ETL Informatica IDMC Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Senior ETL / Informatica IDMC Engineer with 7+ years of experience in data integration and ETL development.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and Teradata, along with basic Python skills.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a collaborative banking/data environment, coordinating with multiple technology and business teams, and providing production support when required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL/data integration solutions using Informatica IDMC.
• Develop and maintain mappings, mapplets, workflows, and data integration processes.
• Work extensively with Teradata for data extraction, transformation, loading, and validation.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis for ETL/data quality issues.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with upstream/downstream application teams.
• Work closely with business analysts, data architects, QA teams, application teams, and other technology teams.
• Participate in deployments, release activities, and production support.
• Develop basic Python scripts for automation, data validation, file processing, or operational tasks.
• Understand and follow enterprise data management, security, and development standards.
• Document technical solutions, data flows, and operational procedures.
• Participate in on-call or weekend support activities when required.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• 7+ years of experience in ETL/data integration development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC / Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI).
• Strong Teradata experience.
• Strong SQL development and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with flat files, relational databases, and enterprise data warehouses.
• Understanding of ETL concepts including transformations, lookups, joins, aggregations, error handling, and data reconciliation.
• Basic Python programming/scripting knowledge.
• Experience working in Agile or enterprise development environments.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams.

PREFERRED / NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
• Previous experience in the banking or financial services domain.
• Knowledge of banking data, transactions, accounts, customers, payments, or regulatory data.
• Experience with data warehouse and enterprise data platforms.
• Experience with ETL production support and incident management.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data integration and modern data platforms.
• Experience with scheduling and monitoring ETL jobs.

Bachelor of Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
