Role: AWS Networking Specialist
Location: Parsippany NJ|| Onsite

Position Type: Contract
Years of experience: 8 - 10 Years

Digital: Amazon Web Service(AWS) Cloud Computing
AWS Data Engineer (On Site)

Key requirements include:

• Networking: Designing and managing VPCs, subnets, routing tables, NAT Gateways, VPNs, Aviatrix and Direct Connect Links.
• AWS: Experience in configuring and managing AWS networking services such as Route53, Transit Gateway, Network Firewall, WAF, DDoS etc. Implement Network Security Controls including security groups, NACLs and encryption protocols
• Network Performance Management: Monitor and optimize network performance and troubleshoot latency, connectivity or availability issues.
• Operating Systems: 2+ years of experience in Linux/Unix Administration.
• Automation/Configuration Management: 2+ years of experience with developing and maintaining infrastructure as a code using tool like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring and alerting tools. Experience with AWS metrics evaluation and threshold configurations.
• Log Analysis: Knowledge of log management and analysis using Splunk, Dynatrace etc.
• Scripting: Good with Linux shell scripting
• Version Control: Experience administrating version control systems such as Bitbucket and git.
• Interpersonal skills to include effective verbal and written communication with staff, key leaders and other departments

Experience required:

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in creating and managing VPCs, subnets, route tables, Network ACLs, Security Groups and managing DNS Services.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in managing DSN Services, traffic flow and health checks.
• Ability to design and manage hub-and-spoke network topologies for multi VPC and hybrid connectivity.
• Good experience in AWS Infra as a code using terraform and CloudFormation
• Experience with ArgoCD, Jenkins
• Good with Linux system commands and processes.
• Ansible based configuration Management
• Experience in Kubernetes
• Containers and their management experience
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Designing and managing VPCs, subnets, routing tables, NAT Gateways, VPNs, Aviatrix and Direct Connect Links.
• Configuring and managing AWS networking services such as Route53, Transit Gateway, Network Firewall, WAF, DDoS etc. Implement Network Security Controls including security groups, NACLs and encryption protocols.
• Monitor and optimize network performance and troubleshoot latency, connectivity or availability issues.
• System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
• Security patching and remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Monitor/review the server logs and work on fixing the issues proactively.
• Must be able to work unsupervised if needed.
• Interpersonal skills to include effective verbal and written communication with staff, key leaders and other departments.
