Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in functional and UI automation testing, proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and Java, and hands-on exposure to API automation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Experience with modern tools such as Splunk, Git, and basic exposure to Artificial Intelligence concepts is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for WebApp UI using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Perform functional testing to validate business requirements and application functionality.
• Develop and execute API automation tests using modern frameworks and tools.
• Analyze logs and application behavior using Splunk for debugging and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers within an Agile team.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
• Identify, log, and track defects through their lifecycle using standard QA processes.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and version control using Git.
• Leverage foundational knowledge of Artificial Intelligence to support emerging QA automation practices (preferred).
• Communicate test results, risks, and recommendations clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• 2–5 years of experience in Selenium WebDriver automation.
• 2–5 years in WebApp UI Automation.
• Strong Java programming skills (2–5 years).
• Experience with Functional Testing (2–5 years).
• Hands-on experience with Git (2–5 years).
• 1+ years experience with API Automation.
• 1+ years experience using Splunk for monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (2–5 years).
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Exposure or interest in Artificial Intelligence concepts and their application in QA (plus).
