Most important — need pharma industry experience working with Dangerous Goods and RF devices. This combo is key. Plus being able to travel to CO 1 time a month for 4 days. If we cant find anyone Chemical manufacturing could be alternative but pharma strongly preferred.
Position: Senior EWM Consultant (US-Based)
Level: Senior
Duration: 9 Months (with potential extension up to 2 years)
Location: Remote, 25% travel to Boulder, CO (4 days onsite once per month)
Project Overview
Customer is rolling out their SAP EWM template to their US production facility
based in Boulder, Colorado.
The project is currently ramping up, with fit-to-template workshops recently
completed and full realization activities beginning mid-August.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the EWM template rollout for the US site, working closely alongside the TM
stream lead.
Provide expert guidance on RF/mobile device usage and selection in
a greenfield environment.
Advise and support on handling of dangerous goods (60% of materials
managed are DG-classified).
Work with limited supervision, acting as the primary EWM point of contact
on-site.
Liaise effectively with local business stakeholders and integrate into the
operational team.
Address offline capability challenges due to inconsistent Wi-Fi coverage.
Must-Have Experience
Extensive hands-on experience in SAP EWM implementations.
Strong understanding and practical experience with RF/mobile device
integration.
Demonstrated expertise in handling dangerous goods within EWM.
Excellent communication skills and ability to drive decisions independently.
Willingness and ability to travel on-site to Boulder, CO four days per month.
Nice-to-Have Experience
Familiarity with Advanced Shipping & Receiving (ASR) in SAP EWM.
Background in the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA (not a requirement, but preferred).
