Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Ab Initio Developer to design, develop, and maintain data processing and ETL solutions using the Ab Initio platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data integration, transformation, and batch processing, with the ability to optimize performance and ensure data quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Ab Initio tools and components.
• Develop, test, and deploy batch jobs and data workflows.
• Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to understand data requirements.
• Optimize and tune Ab Initio graphs and processes for performance and scalability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in data processing workflows.
• Maintain documentation of data flows, transformations, and system architecture.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across ETL processes.
• Support deployment and migration activities.
• Work closely with QA teams to support testing and validation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Ab Initio Developer or similar ETL/Data Integration role.
• Strong knowledge of Ab Initio graph design, metadata management, and parallel processing.
• Experience with Ab Initio components such as EME, GDE, Co>Operating System, and DML.
• Proficient in SQL and database concepts (Oracle, Teradata, etc.).
• Familiarity with shell scripting and UNIX/Linux environments.
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data technologies.
• Knowledge of other ETL tools or programming languages (Informatica, Python, etc.).
• Experience in financial services, retail, or healthcare domains.
