Job Title: EDI Architect
Location: Remote

Visa: USC, GC

 

Main Focus: EDI Architect with strong Edifecs and Azure with any backend programming experience

Overview:
The EDI Architect will lead the design and optimization of Enrollment-focused EDI solutions while supporting the Edifecs team as needed. This role involves addressing existing gaps, reducing dependencies on the Edifecs platform, and collaborating with vendors and solution architects to define scalable, reusable, and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide architectural leadership for Enrollment and Edifecs-related solutions.
• Identify gaps, optimize performance, and challenge existing practices.
• Partner with leadership and vendors (Edifecs) to recommend and implement improvements.
• Conduct design/code reviews, ensure adherence to architectural standards.
• Develop tools/utilities, monitor system performance, and document processes.
• Drive cross-team collaboration to ensure scalability and innovation.

Required Skills:

• Strong Edifecs Architecture experience in healthcare.
• Expertise in .NET (UI, services, APIs), C#, Java, or Python.
• Proficiency in REST Web Services and MS SQL.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Leadership presence with the ability to influence and guide.

Focus Areas:

• Enrollment transactions (batch + real-time).
• Reducing over-reliance on Edthe ifecs platform.
• Delivering a scalable, reusable, and performance-optimized EDI solution
