Role:  Microsoft Power BI Technical Specialist
Location: Dallas TX

 Mandatory Skills: Architecture and design expertise, data modeling, DAX, Power Query, etc.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Design end‑to‑end Power BI architecture including data ingestion, semantic models, dashboards, and deployment pipelines
• Define best practices, standards, and governance for Power BI development across the organization
• Architect enterprise semantic models using Power BI datasets, shared models, and Direct Lake / Import / DirectQuery modes
• Ensure scalable, high‑performance BI solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
• Power BI Development & Optimization
• Lead complex Power BI report and dashboard design for executive and operational analytics
• Optimize DAX calculations, data models, and report performance
• Implement row‑level security (RLS), object‑level security (OLS), and data access controls
• Drive adoption of Power BI Service features (Apps, Workspaces, Deployment Pipelines, Incremental Refresh)

Technical Skills
8–12+ years in BI / Analytics, with 5+ years in Power BI

Expert‑level knowledge of:

• Power BI Desktop & Service
• DAX (advanced measures, calculation groups, optimization)
• Data modeling & performance tuning
• Strong experience with Azure data services
• Hands‑on experience with:
• Import, DirectQuery, Composite models
• Incremental refresh, large datasets
• Power BI REST APIs (preferred)
